C. Meaks Meaker (they/them) writes a lot of things, including plays, essays, and currently a YA novel about werewolf cheerleaders who eat the football team. They’re a professor of playwriting when they can get the work, and a dramaturg (what the hell is that?) for some of the best people on the planet. They graduated high school in Tennessee and then escaped their hometown to live in an even smaller town to attend Knox College in Galesburg, IL. They love all things horror, monsters, and queer stuff. Eric Marlin (they/them) is a queer, Jewish playwright, educator, and unabashed little horror freak. Their plays are kinda like haunted houses, even when there aren’t literal ghosts. They went to high school in Orange County, California (“behind the Orange curtain” as we used to say), where they developed a healthy sense of ennui. Afterwards, they went to college in Vermont, where writers live in the woods. Nowadays they live in Brooklyn, with their husband (co-host Luke Daniel White) and their two perfect cats. Luke Daniel White (he/him) is one of those ever-elusive dramaturgs you may have heard mentioned that one time on Smash. As a production dramaturg, he’s touched Shakespeare, musicals, and everything in between, but his real passion and focus lie in helping working playwrights bring their visions to life from page to stage. He went to high school outside Winston-Salem, North Carolina before heading up the mountain to attend college at Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!). Now he lives in Brooklyn with his husband (co-host Eric Marlin) and their two perfect cats.
